Residential Condo Green Roof

The modernist Form Condo designed by architects—Alliance fits in beautifully with iconic neighbours, the Art Gallery of Ontario and OCAD. Described as “muscular and smart”, the Form rises to a height of 14 storeys and is topped with more than 400 square metres of the TerraExt green roof system. This pre-vegetated green roof system keeps the building cool and resilient – ideal for harsh temperatures and climate change preparedness.

Enhanced Performance

The Form’s TerraExt lightweight, pre-vegetated extensive green roof was customized with 75 mm of engineered growing medium –  just enough to up the thermal performance without excessive load. This system improves thermal performance, saves energy for space conditioning and increases water retention & filtration.
