Most of North America’s green roofs are extensive as they are lightweight, economical and easy to install. They meet green roof bylaws, improve building performance, provide environmental benefits and create an ecological setting. Extensive systems, such as the LiteN’Less™, Xeroflor XF301, TerraEXT and StormCap™ product lines, can be combined with BioBerms™ for greater biodiversity to help meet every design goal. Independently wind tested to CAN/CSA A123.24

  • Shallow-rooted plants like sedum, mosses, grasses, and small forbs flourish in minimal growing media
  • Generally, extensive systems require the least maintenance
