Runoff Detention

Detention systems retain and detain water as they mimic the natural landscape to manage storm events by delaying the onset of runoff. They help prevent flash floods, combined sewer overflow, and meet municipal requirements.
Blue Green Roof Ponding Detention systems store and control rainwater with a light and strong cell that holds up to 95% water and uses a smart drain to regulate the water flow. Compatible with any of our green roof systems.
Blue Green Roof Friction Detention systems store and control rainwater with a specialized friction detention layer and a reservoir layer, that can detain an additional 100 mm runoff. Compatible with TerraExt, StormCap™, Alpine Meadow, Flora Garden and SpongeBase ™ systems.
