Green Roofs for Healthy Cities and the Roofing Contractors Association of British Columbia are co-presenting the Vancouver Green Roof Symposium where planners, experts and stakeholders will identify best practices in green roof policy making and design.

Exciting Line-Up of Speakers

NLSM’s Green Roof Specialist Dr. Karen Liu is part of an exciting line-up of industry experts discussing regional green roof empirical findings, system performance reviews, ROI as well as the success in green roof policy development in other cities.  Karen will examine a minimalist lightweight “soilless” green roof system installed on three public sector buildings in British Columbia.  She will share why they were specified and how they perform – and demonstrate increased ROI and retrofit potential.
